🔴 49ers Offensive Player Spotlights

Brock Purdy — QB

Purdy played every offensive snap and efficiently managed the offense throughout the game. He showed command pre-snap, consistently got the ball out on time, and capitalized in the red zone. His poise helped stabilize the offense during Seattle pressure looks and kept drives on schedule.

Christian McCaffrey — RB (2 TDs)

McCaffrey was the engine of the offense, accounting for two touchdowns and logging a heavy workload as both a runner and receiver. His vision and balance consistently punished Seattle’s linebackers, and his versatility forced defensive mismatches that opened up play-action opportunities.

George Kittle — TE (TD)

Kittle’s snap count was reduced due to in-game management, but his impact was decisive. He found the end zone and delivered key blocks that helped spring outside runs. Even in limited usage, his presence demanded defensive attention.

Brayden Tonges — TE (TD)

Tonges made the most of his expanded role, logging meaningful snaps and scoring a touchdown. He held up well as a blocker and provided a reliable red-zone target, continuing to earn trust within the offensive rotation.

Ricky Pearsall — WR

Pearsall played a high snap share and was consistently involved in the passing game. His route discipline and ability to separate underneath helped sustain drives, particularly on early downs.

Trent Williams — LT

Williams’ return stabilized the offensive line immediately. He dominated on the left edge, neutralizing Seattle’s top pass rushers and improving run-lane consistency. His presence elevated the entire unit’s performance.

Dominick Puni — G

Puni continued his strong play inside, handling both power and movement assignments effectively. His ability to anchor against interior pressure helped keep the pocket clean for Purdy.

🟦 Seahawks Defensive Player Spotlights

Devon Witherspoon — CB

Witherspoon played every defensive snap and was Seattle’s most reliable coverage defender. He limited separation on the perimeter and was active in run support, consistently closing downhill to finish plays.

Leonard Williams — DL

Williams was disruptive along the interior, generating pressure and holding his ground against the run. His ability to collapse the pocket forced quicker throws and disrupted San Francisco’s interior timing.

Ernest Jones — LB

Jones logged a full snap load and served as the centerpiece of Seattle’s defense. He flowed well sideline-to-sideline, filled run gaps decisively, and remained active in short-zone coverage.

Byron Murphy — DT

Murphy provided steady interior resistance, particularly on early downs. His leverage and strength helped limit inside rushing lanes and complement Leonard Williams up front.

Boye Mafe — EDGE

Mafe consistently set the edge and applied outside pressure. While not always finishing sacks, his containment limited quarterback movement and helped funnel plays back inside.

Riq Woolen — CB

Woolen handled a full workload in coverage and used his length to contest throws downfield. Though tested often, he held up well against vertical routes.

🩺 Injury & Usage Notes

  • George Kittle: Snap count reduced due to in-game injury management. Usage was limited after early involvement.
  • Christian McCaffrey: Maintained full availability with no visible in-game limitations despite heavy workload.
  • Offensive Line: No in-game replacements. Unit remained intact throughout the contest.
  • Seahawks Defense: No defensive starters were removed for injury during the game.

🧪 Final Takeaway

San Francisco controlled the game with red-zone execution and tight-end usage, while Seattle’s defense leaned heavily on its corners and interior pressure to stay competitive.
